Legal and Court Paperwork Support in Sunderland

Legal paperwork can be difficult to understand, particularly when you are dealing with a dispute, a court application, correspondence from an organisation or forms that need to be completed correctly.

Tony Legal Support provides practical paralegal assistance with letters, forms, evidence organisation, case reviews and court-related paperwork. We help you understand what information is required, organise the documents and prepare the paperwork within the limits of our role.

We are not a firm of solicitors and do not carry out reserved legal activities. Where a matter requires a solicitor, barrister or another regulated professional, we will explain this and may recommend an appropriate referral.

How We Can Help

  • Legal letters and written correspondence
  • Court forms and paperwork
  • Evidence organisation
  • Reviewing documents and correspondence
  • Helping prepare supporting information
  • Case reviews and practical next-step guidance
  • Correspondence with organisations and agencies
  • General paralegal administration and document support

Legal Letters and Correspondence

We can help prepare straightforward letters, notices and requests where you need a clear written position or need to communicate formally with another person, business or organisation.

Where a matter involves more evidence, a dispute or a more detailed written position, we can review the available documents and prepare more substantial correspondence.

Your current office guide gives these prices:

Simple letter or email — £60 each

Complex letter — from £250

Case review — £150–£250

Complex case support — from £650 package.

Court Paperwork and Form Preparation

We can provide practical assistance with court forms, supporting documents and organising information for applications.

This may include helping you understand what information a form is asking for, organising evidence and documents and assisting with preparation of paperwork for submission.

Our role is support and document preparation. We do not act as solicitors or barristers and do not conduct litigation or provide reserved court representation.

Case Reviews

If you are unsure what to do next, we can review the documents you have and help you identify the practical options available.

A case review may include:

  • Reviewing letters, forms or other documents
  • Identifying information that may still be needed
  • Helping organise evidence
  • Explaining practical next steps
  • Identifying whether specialist legal advice may be required

Case review fees are generally between £150 and £250 depending on the amount and complexity of the material.

Complex Case Support

Some matters require more than a single letter or form.

Where ongoing practical support is needed, we may assist with gathering evidence, preparing multiple letters, organising agency correspondence and helping manage the administrative side of the matter.

Complex case support starts from £650 and is quoted according to the work involved.

Attendance and Personal Support

Where appropriate, Tony Legal Support may provide personal attendance and practical support at appointments, meetings or hearings.

Half-day attendance — £350
Covers a booked attendance period of up to 4 hours.

Full-day attendance — £650
Covers a booked attendance period of up to 8 hours.

These fees apply once the attendance has been booked, even if the appointment or hearing finishes earlier than expected.

If attendance outside our usual local area is agreed in advance, additional travel time and expenses may apply.

At present, we generally provide in-person support within our local North East service area and may not be able to accept attendance requests for distant locations.

Where suitable, support can also be provided by Zoom or telephone appointment. Remote appointments are charged separately depending on the type of support required.

Cancellation of Attendance

Half-day and full-day attendance bookings reserve a specific period of staff time.

If an attendance is cancelled or postponed, a cancellation charge may apply depending on the amount of notice given and any reasonable costs already incurred.

Where possible, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation or postponement.

Full cancellation terms will be confirmed when the attendance is booked.

What Information Should You Bring?

Depending on the matter, it may help to provide:

  • Letters or emails you have received
  • Court papers or forms
  • Previous correspondence
  • Relevant agreements or contracts
  • Evidence such as photographs, messages or records
  • Names and contact details of organisations involved
  • Important dates and deadlines
